Day 1-2: Fly to China
Cross the international dateline on your late evening flight from the West Coast.

Day 3: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in China! Enjoy a traditional duck dinner this evening.
Day 4: Explore the Historical Heart
Your second day begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world, where you can take in the vastness of this iconic space. Continue walking to the renowned Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage site that served as the imperial palace for centuries. You'll marvel at the intricate architecture and learn about China's imperial history.
Afterwards, you'll visit the Temple of Heaven, an architectural masterpiece where emperors once conducted elaborate ceremonies. It's a serene and culturally rich experience. The day ends with free time for shopping or leisure, offering you a chance to explore Beijing's bustling markets or relax at your own pace.

Day 5: The Great Wall and Sacred Way
Today, you'll embark on a full-day excursion to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China. Your journey will take you to one of the best-preserved sections, allowing you to hike along its ancient ramparts and soak in the breathtaking views. On your way back to Beijing, you'll stop by the Sacred Way, the long ceremonial stone‑lined avenue that served as the “road to heaven,” leading to the Ming Tombs and symbolizing the emperor’s spiritual journey to the afterlife.

Day 6: Summer Palace, Panda Encounter, and Hutong Exploration
Your day begins with a visit to the beautiful Summer Palace, a stunning imperial garden filled with ancient temples, pavilions, and a tranquil lake. Afterward, you'll head to the Beijing Zoo, where you can see adorable pandas. Afterwards, you will take a guided tour of Beijing's traditional Hutong neighborhoods, providing a glimpse into the daily lives of locals. In the evening, you'll be treated to a captivating Acrobatic Show, featuring extraordinary talents and performances that will leave you in awe.

Day 7: Departure for X'ian
This morning, board a high-speed bullet train to X'ian. Upon arrival, bike or walk atop the city wall. A well‑preserved Ming‑dynasty fortification encircling Xi’an’s historic center, stretching roughly 14 kilometers and standing as one of China’s oldest and most complete ancient city walls. In the evening, visit the Everbright city, a vibrant, neon‑lit cultural district that blends Tang‑dynasty–themed architecture with modern entertainment, offering immersive shows, street performances, food stalls, and dazzling nighttime light displays

Day 8: Terracotta Warriors
Today, you'll explore the world-famous Terracotta Warrior Museum, home to thousands of life-sized clay soldiers. This archaeological wonder provides a window into China's ancient history and military prowess.

Day 9: Flight to Guilin
Leaving the big cities behind, catch a flight to Guilin, a city renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy some time to relax, explore the market, and enjoy the countryside as you prepare for another adventure tomorrow.

Day 10: Bike Ride and Li River Cruise
Your morning begins with a bike ride through the picturesque countryside, offering an up-close view of rural life in Guilin. Next, embark on a picturesque Li River cruise, where you'll be surrounded by dramatic karst limestone peaks and lush countryside. This leisurely journey is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Guilin's breathtaking natural scenery.

Day 11: Karst Caves, Local Market, Tea Plantation,
Guilin is home to famous karst caves known for their dramatic limestone formations and illuminated underground chambers. Take a walk in one of the exquisite limestone caves. Visit a local market where you will find piles of leafy greens, bamboo shoots, tanks of fish, tubs of eels, and vendors selling fresh chicken or duck.
Head to another part of town to visit a local Tea Plantation where you'll learn about traditional Chinese tea culture and enjoy a tea-tasting session.

Day 12: Longji Rice Terraces
Enjoy a full day of spectacular scenery. The Longji Rice Terraces are a breathtaking mountainside landscape of cascading, hand‑carved rice paddies built by the Zhuang and Yao people over 650 years ago, forming sweeping curves and layered steps that change color with every season and offer some of the most iconic views in all of rural China.

Day 13: Full Day Hong Kong
This morning take the high-speed train into Hong Kong. Ascend to Victoria Peak for sweeping views of Hong Kong's skyline. Discover Aberdeen, a former fishing village now transformed into a vibrant harbor community. Take a sampan ride to explore the floating village and interact with the locals. Next, visit the Chi Lin Nunnery Gardens, a serene oasis in the heart of Hong Kong, featuring perfectly manicured bonsai, lotus ponds, and elegant Tang‑dynasty–style wooden architecture that create a peaceful escape from the city’s energy.

Day 14: Final Day and Departure
Your last day in Hong Kong is yours to spend as you like. You can further explore the vibrant city, shop for souvenirs, or relax by the waterfront. In the evening, you'll depart from Hong Kong, concluding your remarkable journey through China. Welcome back to the U.S.!
