Day 1
Departure from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to kick off your South America Essentials Tour.

 

Day 2
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro! Begin your adventure with a guided walking tour of Rio, immersing yourself in its vibrant culture and exploring iconic landmarks. Check into your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

 

Day 3
Delve deeper into Rio's allure with a thrilling excursion. Ride the renowned "Sugar Loaf" cable car for panoramic views before ascending to the majestic "Christ the Redeemer" statue atop Corcovado Mountain.

 

Day 4
Fly to Iguazu Falls! Spend the afternoon at Parque das Aves, marveling at its diverse avian inhabitants from around the globe.

 

Day 5
Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of Iguacu Falls from the Brazilian side, experiencing its grandeur up close with a Macuco Safari. Conclude the day with a delectable dinner and a captivating Latin American Show at Restaurant Rafain.

Journey across South America to Lima, Peru by flight, for the next leg of your adventure.

 

Day 7
Catch a short flight to Cuzco, Peru, and commence your exploration of this historic city with a comprehensive guided tour. Discover archaeological wonders like Cusco Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman, Q’enko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

 

Day 8
Relax as you're chauffeured to the Sacred Valley, stopping at Awnacancha and Cochahuasi to delve into local culture. Explore the enchanting landscapes of the Sacred Valley, including a visit to Pisac, renowned for its bustling markets and artisanal treasures.

Embark on a morning journey to the bus station in Aguas Calientes for a scenic ride to the secluded citadel of Machu Picchu.
